How doeas Brasstax cater for changes in the tax rule?

Brasstax was designed around the idea that the rules will change, this is why the Tax Rules for each year simply "plug in" to the rest of the system. This also means that if there are changes in one year you are guaranteed that those same changes will not have any impact on the calculations previously done in earlier years.
