A backup already exists for the current version...

The Update Version Setup file has been ran before, and the system created a backup folder for the current version, when user run again the Update Version Setup, it will prompt the above error message because it is trying to create a folder with the same name and would not replace the existing folder that is already there. Solution 1 : Browse into where you installed BRASSTAX Data Server to (eg. C:\ProgramFiles\EALink\BRASSTAX\Corporate) to look for a folder named Backup*current version number* (eg. Backup171000), rename the folder to other names (eg. Backup171000old). Then user should be able to run the Update Version Setup now. |
