....Access is Denied....

Cause (1) :
User Login to Windows using normal or limited User Account which doesn't have administrator rights to access and update files in the server.

Solution (1) :
Advise user to Login to Windows as Administrator or any User Account that has administrator rights



Cause (2) :
Someone is still using BRASSTAX or BRASSTAX is still running on one of the workstations.

Solution (2) :
Ensure that no one is using BRASSTAX by make sure the Copies runing/allowed in License Server Panel shows 0/99 (as shown below).


 
Cause (3) :
Although no one is using BRASSTAX but somehow system is still holding some files of BRASSTAX.

Solution (3) :
  1. Restart the server computer and try to run the update again.
  2. If it fails, copy the Data folder which is in C:\Program Files\EALink\Brasstax\Corporate out to Desktop.
  3. Then rename the original Data folder which in \Corporate folder to other name (eg. Data1)
  4. Then copy the Data folder that is on the Desktop back to the original location which in \Corporate folder and run the update again.
